Get Started - Amazon S3 Connector for Confluence
The Amazon S3 Connector for Confluence is a powerful app that transforms your Confluence instance into an unlimited file storage system. By combining a simple and intuitive UI with the power of AWS S3 Buckets, you can share content securely across multiple teams, all at scale.
To get started, create an S3 Bucket, obtain an IAM access key, and add these details to the connector.
Insert the “Amazon S3 Storage Connector” macro onto any Confluence page to begin managing your files.

Restrict access to specific users, groups, and Spaces for each Bucket.
Upload files directly from a Confluence page.
Create new folders to manage multiple files and projects efficiently.

To Get Help and Support or Request a feature
If you haven’t yet downloaded the Amazon S3 Connector for Confluence, get it from the from Marketplace and proceed with the administration steps outlined below.
Add S3 Content
And Configure the macro layout and display options
Macro Configuration Options:
Title: Set a title for the macro.
Bucket: Select the Bucket to display—only buckets that the current user has permission to view will appear in the dropdown list.
Show Borders: Display a border around the macro.
Show Versions: If versioning is enabled on the Bucket, selecting this option will show previous versions of objects.
Display Image Thumbnails: Show image previews as small thumbnails.
Thumbnail Size: Choose the size of thumbnails.
View as:
Order Field: Default ordering field—Name, Size, Last Modified.
Order Type: Choose between Ascending or Descending order.
Administration
Before users can utilize the add-on, you must complete the following steps:
Once a Bucket has been created, the permission manager will appear, allowing you to define which users, groups, and Spaces can access the Bucket.
